Hi, I’m Lily 👩🏼
👋🏼 I'm an AI Design & Strategy Consultant with 15 years of design experience. I started in industrial design at Intel's concept design studio, then spent a decade leading research-driven UX projects at consultancies in the US and Europe, including as Associate Creative Director at argodesign. Today I help teams design AI products that look good, work well, and make sense.
🌏 I work independently with agencies and client teams worldwide, stepping in at short notice to lead projects from start to finish. I'm trusted to represent agencies directly with clients, guide small design teams, and make sure the work is not only beautifully crafted but strategically sound. Lately, that means designing AI tools and agents, and running co-build sessions that leave teams able to carry the work forward on their own.
🌙 I'm based in Australia, which puts me online while US and European teams sleep. For my clients abroad, I deliver work overnight.
I've spoken at NEXT Conference, Ignite Sydney, and IXDA Netherlands' Interaction 20 Redux, among other speaking engagements.
✍🏼 My process
I encourage teams to approach design as a system, not just a surface. That often means starting with research and conversations with end users, then moving quickly into prototyping and iteration. I help designers cut through the noise, focus on the essential value, and shape solutions that align with a client’s capabilities and budget.
The result is a design that’s clear, functional, and defensible; work that stands up to scrutiny and gives agencies confidence when presenting to their clients.

👩🏼💻 What I’m looking for
I take on projects that are complex, research-driven, and strategically interesting. Increasingly, that means AI products and AI adoption inside organizations. I work best with small teams of designers, developers, and researchers as the project lead, interfacing directly with the client.
I’m especially drawn to healthcare, public good, fintech, data science, and AI. All areas where I have both experience and personal interest.
